Guido is an application developed in React Native, it is at its 3rd version. Is dedicated to students and those who have an ISIC card. The app is based on vouchers and discounts in various places, restaurants or other types of activities in big Belgian cities.
The backend is built in Laravel and has a complex API that connects to the GUIDO server, accesses data and voucher codes. The system also has an ISIC number recognition API.
An innovation for this application was the implementation of an iBeacon system, based on bluetooth technology. Thus, everyone who has the application installed can receive promotional messages and notifications when they are near a location that uses ibeacon.
